SEXTRASH: New Album To Be Produced By Former SARCOFAGO Bassist
October 3, 2005Reunited Brazilian death metallers SEXTRASH have announced that former SARCOFAGO bassist Gerald Minelli will produce the band's upcoming album, tentatively due December 2005. "SEXTRASH is a fucking great band," Minelli said in a statement. "They called me a few weeks ago at their practice place to listen the new songs and then they asked me to produce the new album. Holy shit, the new songs are amazing! It's very agressive! We are in Belo Horizonte at the studio and right now they're recording the drum tracks for the new songs."
As previously reported, SEXTRASH's new album as-yet-untitled will feature 11 songs and will be released via Cogumelo Records. The CD will be the group's first full-length studio effort since 1992's "Funeral Serenade". SEXTRASH's current lineup consists of Doom (vocals),Marck (guitars),Kruegger (bass) and Quake (drums).
